Day 2: Enjoy a fresh, tropical breakfast before cruising the crystal waters to the historic town of Spanish Wells on St Georges Cay Eleuthera Anchoring along the way you can have a lazy lunch on the top deck and perhaps a refreshing swim or snorkel.
Day 3: A local pilot will guide your yacht into Harbour Island. Stroll along the narrow flower-lined streets of Dunmore Town, recently dubbed the “new St Barths”. Renowned for brightly colored houses and white picket fences, this elegant little town has many art galleries, restaurants, and boutiques. Diving enthusiasts will enjoy the sight of an unusual underwater train wreck. Overnight.
Day 4: Take a walk along a 3-mile sandy beach, colored pink by millions of coral fragments, and enjoy sunbathing or perhaps a morning of water sports. At the beach you’ll be served a spectacular buffet style picnic lunch. Then, cruise back through Spanish Wells and onto Governor’s Harbour to overnight.
Day 5: One of the most attractive communities in the Bahamas, Governors Harbour has great charm. This quaint rustic town showcases pretty, painted houses and a beautiful pink, sandy beach on the eastern side of the island. Hire a golf buggy to explore the town and surrounding areas. Cruise up to Ten Bay Beach for a swim before leaving after lunch for your 54 nm cruise to Highbourne Cay. Overnight.
Day 6: Explore the beautiful beach, go bone fishing on the flats, and feed the sharks and stingrays. Certified divers can explore the 230-foot Highbourne Cay Wall and the sixteenth-century Highbourne Cay Wreck. After lunch leave for Warderick Wells Cay, part of the Exuma Land and Sea Park where you’ll find walking trails and an abundance of wildlife including Bubba, a 4-foot barracuda, who lives around the north anchorage. Visit Pirates Lair off Capture Beach or discover the ruins of an eighteenth-century loyalist settlement off Rendezvous Beach. Overnight.
Day 7: After breakfast head for Staniel Cay, which offers some of the most spectacular waters in the world, brightly painted houses, and friendly people. After lunch leave for Big Major Cay to visit the swimming pigs. Cruise up to Allen Cay to overnight.
Day 8: Take a walk to view the Black Iguanas. These prehistoric-looking large-size lizards live here and in some of the remote Out Islands, but nowhere else in the Bahamas. Return to Nassau for disembarkation.
