Marmaris, located in southwest Turkey, is a popular tourist and luxury charter yacht destination. Marmaris is built on the world’s largest natural harbor, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet, and is surrounded by beautiful pine forested hills that greets crystal waters. This prime location adds to its appeal. To the north lies the Gulf of Gokova and to the south is the Mediterranean. On the west is Datca peninsula and to the east Koycegiz Lake. Marmaris Castle

The old part of town centers around Marmaris Castle. Well preserved historic homes featuring classic Mugla architecure line narrow streets of the residential area. The area, though now cosmopolitan, was a fishing village less than 20 years ago. Today, it is an urban, bustling tourist area that has a 700-berth marina where you can dock your charter yacht. It is a year-round home to many foreigners. Visitors strolling through the old quarter of town will find colorful bazaars and superb restaurants featuring Turkish delights.
