The weather outside isn't quite "frightful" yet, but a Winter Charter can ensure that you have a "delightful" winter holiday!

Winter charter locations are wide ranging and varied.  Among the best of winter locations is the Caribbean, which offers many crewed charter yacht choices, and a winter playground of sun, fun and clear beautiful waters. Charter is available in locations that range from the British Virgin Islands down to Grenada, which is considered the Eastern Caribbean. From time to time crewed yacht charter is available in the Western Caribbean including Belize, Guatemala and Honduras.

There are other excellent winter charter locations as well.  Farther south, there are several crewed charter yachts available for cruising Panama and Costa Rica, in an area stretching from the San Blas Islands, to the Panama Canal, Las Perlas Islands and up the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.  Mexico, along the "Mexican Riviera" around Acapulco, and up to the Baja Peninsula is a growing charter location, although the Sea of Cortez is similar in temperature to the Bahamas, and is a better charter location in the spring and fall, rather than winter.  The Galapagos is always a great charter location.  High Season for this area is in the winter.  And what could be better than to visit Australia or New Zealand during our winter, which is their summer.  Asia, and the Seychelles and Maldives are also a lovely winter charter location.

Here at Northrop and Johnson Yacht Charters we are very knowledgeable about all charter locations and crewed charter yachts that might be available.

Please inquire for more charter information in any location of interest or visit the Destinations page on our web site.

We look forward to helping you plan a memorable charter experience!

Where Else but the Caribbean!?

The cold weather settles in, or maybe it is the same winter humdrum Brighten your outlook and think "Charter in the Caribbean" for a refreshing winter holiday break!
With warm trade winds and clear magical waters, hours of water fun await you in the Caribbean.  Wander the clean sand beaches, swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters, hike the rain forests, or look for Green Vervet Monkeys, sea turtles and dolphins.  There are endless options when it comes to this wonderful charter destination.
The Caribbean is a year around charter destination; however the best time for clear skies and sunny days is from early December through June.  Start planning early if a Christmas or New Year Holiday is of interest, or for weeks in February through Easter, which are often Spring Break weeks for various school holidays.  Once a time frame is chosen you can move on to the fun part and choose an itinerary with specific destinations!

Choosing where in the Caribbean to explore can be difficult as there are so many great options.
