Thomas truly loves sailing, adventure and fun, he could not live in another way ! He has

cruised and raced sailing yachts all over the world since 25 years and has crossed Atlantic

Ocean over 40 times.

As Luce Guida’s captain, Thomas loves seeking out the exceptional for his passengers ;

he will explore the West Indies in a unique way as he grew up there, or go to his favorite

breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean sea from Corsica to Greece, via Croatia or

Sicily. Each trip is a new adventure for him, always in a good mood way.

As he perfectly knows how to master Luce Guida, you will discover sensations of new

pleasure and exhilarating gliding on the sea.

You also will fully enjoy the serenity of your trip at sunset, Thomas will seek to anchor in

the turquoise waters, once the keel of the boat has been raised.

After College, Gianni went travelling around the world for a 5 years tour that ended with

a 6 month cruise between Panama and Tahiti aboard a 45 feet catamaran as Second.

Gianni joined Captain Thomas Huygues Despointes on board of LUCE GUIDA upon

his return.

Art of cooking is the second passion of Gianni. As both of his parents are Chefs, Gianni

has innate talents ; he is guided by pleasure, refined taste and sense of sharing. He

enjoys inventing a gourmet style based on his Franco-Italian culinary heritage that he

enriches with foreign receipes from the aeras he visited. He can discretely adapt any

menu to accommodate specific preferences or indeed intolerances like gluten or

lactose. He offers a delicate, neat, balanced and sophisticated cuisine.
