Twilight offers accommodation for eights guests in four luxurious en-suite cabins. The full width master stateroom is complete with a king size bed, sofa, large viewing ports two full length closets and a writing desk. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower and toilet equipped with his and her sinks.
There are two double cabins with queen size beds which may also be divided on request to make singles, they are equipped with sofas, ample closet space and private ensuite bathrooms. The fourth guest cabin offers two full singles and a ensuite bathroom and shower.
Captain: Katherine Pennington

Kathy was brought up in South Africa and learned to sail at a very early age She is proud to be one of the few female super-yacht captains. Kathy’s father has been a huge influence in her life. He has always had a passion for sailing and this has been passed on to her. Her father had sailing yachts when they lived in Cape Town and then smaller ones on the Vaal dam in Johannesburg, so Kathy has always been around yachts while growing up. After completing her qualifications, she spent several years restoring boats and doing yacht deliveries in her spare time. This was while she was a fulltime scuba diving instructor. She soon realized that sailing was her first love and sought to make it a profession. For the last nine years, she has been running a 36-meter classic ketch TIZIANA, which is fully chartered and is now looking forward to newer and more exciting times on board S/Y Twilight. Kathy and her enthusiastic team are very hands-on and together they will make your experience on Twilight an unforgettable one.

Chef: Jean Matthee

Having worked in some of the finest locations from the UK to Cape Town, this fun loving South African Chef is bound to impress both with his food and hospitality. Chef Jéan cooks contemporary Med cuisine with influences from his travels all over the world as well as some touches of local South African flavor.

Having been a sole yacht chef for over 4 years, he still fuels his avid love for travel and dedicates himself to exploring a new world and fulfilling every opportunity opened to him in the Yachting Industry. With the main focus on improving his skills and chef repertoire, one can never know too much and has to always be open to learn.

When he is not busy in the galley you'll most likely find him with a fishing rod in hand or behind the lens of his camera. If you are lucky and hook into some big Tuna or Mahi Mahi, he will give you a crash course of landing, cleaning and cooking that beautiful fresh fish on the spot.

Chef Jéan looks forward to guiding you through the best possible food experience while onboard S/Y Twilight.

Stewardess: Biarta Gartland

Biarta was born and raised in Australia and grew up near the Great Ocean Road. Having spent most of her life by the sea it came naturally to her to pursue a career on the water. As a child and young adult, she always loved the beach. She was also interested in arts and music and later developed a love for diving, paddle boarding, yoga and adventure - which she has found and enjoyed throughout her worldwide travels. Having always had an eye for detail and a passion for providing sound service, she sees that your stay on board is an exceptional one.e on board memorable.

Mate: Louis Bell

Louis heralds from a small coastal town on the east coast of Ireland, he began sailing at a young age on dinghies and has progressed through various categories of yachts. He has a commercially endorsed MCA/RYA ticket for up to 200gt, PB2, STCW and certificates in radar, diesel engine maintenance and yachtmaster theory. One of Louis’ favorite things to do during his annual leave is to work and sail on his own boat. He purchased her at the age of 21 in a dilapidated state and entering into a fairly extensive renovation project with his dad, and SY Saoirse sits on her mooring in Howth awaiting Louis’ next visit. It’s Louis’ daily task to ensure you and your guests have the best possible time whilst on board whether it be sailing, stand up paddle boarding, water skiing, wakeboarding, snorkelling or just relaxing on deck, he will assist in whatever way possible.

Second Stewardess: Gabrielle Barlow

Growing up in a small town in country NSW Australia, Gabrielle has spent her foundational years on the farm and by the river waterskiing and fishing. Her career in hospitality started from a young age, managing restaurants and brewing coffee at the local cafes near her home. It was her annual family beach holidays that grew her heart fond of the ocean and a longing to one day to reside by the waves. With a dear friend in the yachting industry telling her tales of exploration and experience, Gabrielle’s natural Aussie adventurist side and interest to travel sent her off around to globe to pursue her career. A bohemian soul at her essence, Gabrielle has a keen interest for alternative medicine and is a qualified Reiki Master. With her experience and down to earth nature, Gabrielle is sure to make your time on board a memorable one.

Engineer: Gonçalo Domingues

Gonçalo was born in South Africa to Portuguese parents. He spent most of his life growing up inland where he loved playing sports such as tennis, water polo and swimming. However he would relish holidays to the seaside and has always been fascinated with boats. After school Gonçalo studied Sport Management and entered the corporate race but he would find himself unsatisfied with the normal day-to-day life and felt a big void that just could not be fulfilled. His inspiration to work on yachts came about when a family friend would visit, telling tales of his life and adventures sailing around the world. Gonçalo would get a feeling of joy and passion upon hearing these tales and quickly decided to follow this feeling inside. Goncalo has worked on yachts for the past 5 years and has never looked back. His passion lies in the engine room where he is extremely fascinated with how boat systems work but he also loves being outside feeling the wind in the sails.
