Club 55 is a celebrity vacation spot like no other. Far more than just a restaurant on La Plage de Pampelonne, this family-run establishment has catered to celebs for decades. It all started with a hit film starring Brigitte Bardot back in 1955. Club 55 offers indoor and al fresco dining under the trees, along with a beach club and a small shop. Most importantly, it has its own dock, where ships’ tenders can easily bring guests from charter yachts anchored nearby.
Opened in 2002, the Nikki Beach Saint Tropez Beach Club and Restaurant is a chic spot with top-label chilled champagne and true international jetsetters. DJs from all over the world keep things chill during the day and heat things up at night.
Inside the Hotel Byblos is a place believed to be the most exclusive club on the Riviera, Les Caves du Roy. Situated in real caves, the night here gets started at 1AM. A multimillion Euro remodel has made this hotspot more of a draw than ever.
At the highest pinnacle of a walled medieval hilltop village up on the mountainsides of the French Riviera around Villefranche, sits this 2-star Michelin restaurant with unsurpassed views. Chevre d’Or Restaurant is a perfect lunch or dinner stop after a walking tour of Eze.
Gotha Nightclub in Cannes is open until 5AM. World-famous performers such as David Guetta and T-Pain are just some of the great reasons to make a reservation in the VIP section.
Cap du Antibes
Dine while gazing at your charter yacht on anchor in front of Eden Roc Restaurant at Hotel du Eden Roc. Executive Chef Arnaud Poette celebrates fine French cuisine and includes herbs and vegetables from his own gardens in Antibes. The restaurant is located right on the water and has a tender dock for guests to come in directly.
3-star Michelin restaurant Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris can be found within the iconic palace hotel in Monte Carlo, run by one of the most famous international chefs. Opened in 1987, the restaurant has regularly appeared on lists of the world’s top restaurants. This is elegant fine dining with a dress code.
Near Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda of Sardinia, Phi Beach is an open-air club and restaurant nestled into the sand, surrounded by wind-blown boulders dipping into sultry blue Mediterranean waters. During the day, guests lounge in beach chairs. In the evening, the club comes alive for sunset drinks. Dining takes place in several different areas, including the Royal Table tucked into a secluded niche in the Rock Club. Top international DJs make guest appearances during the high season to get people on their feet.
The intent of owner Flavio Briatore was to create a rendezvous for the jetset crowd at Billionaire Porto Cervo, where the crowds demonstrate his success. Inside you can find two restaurants, a nightclub, and a shisha lounge for enjoying the highest-quality tobacco.
Located near the Blue Grotto, La Fontelina Restaurant and Beach Club is most easily reached by private charter yacht. There is a private dock just for the restaurant and beach club to access by ship’s tender, which is the best way to arrive, as folks attempting to reach the hotspot on foot have to walk about 300 meters through brush.
A relaxed trattoria with fresh seafood and excellent pasta, La Conca del Sogno Restaurant and Beach Club is tucked into a tiny little cove near Nerano. This gorgeous and secretive retreat is also most easily reached by private charter yacht.
For the best view of the Amalfi Coast, head to the terrace at the San Pietro Hotel before sundown to enjoy a spectacular sunset display. Come ashore by ship’s tender using the private tender dock, and take the hotel elevator to access the terrace. Stay for dinner—the seafood is to die for.
One party begins at 4PM and the next begins at 10PM (starring top DJs, of course) at Paradise Beach Club on Mykonos Island. Visit for lunch and sunning on the beach during the day. The club can be accessed by private charter yacht anchored in the bay in front of the club, with guests heading ashore by ship’s tender.
At Void Nightclub in Mykonos, DJs play in the ceiling above an ethereal light installation, casting a glow on the dancers as they sway. The club has three levels, with VIP guests mingling at the top, overlooking the dance floor.
Remezzo Nightclub in Mykonos overlooks the city’s old port, and partiers can watch the sun set and then go hard until sunrise. Fine Greek dining in the club’s restaurant includes scorpion fish and sea urchin along with classic dishes such as saganaki and moussaka.
Santorini is host to many impressive clubs such as Koo Club, which sits in the heart of the city. Order a cool drink and dance the night away under the stars.
Enigma Club was founded in 1979 in Fira, just off of the main square. Grab a cocktail or a shisha and enjoy the cosmopolitan crowd.
The perfect location to jump-start your evening is at Tango Bar, especially with sundown cocktails. There is no better spot to admire the view, as the club is built into the side of the caldera cliffs.
On the island of Ibiza off the coast of Spain in the Balearic Islands, Pacha Nightclub is an institution standing tall for the last forty years. This “superclub” rocks nightly until dawn with the hottest international beats.
Drop anchor at Calò Des Mort, a half moon-shaped cove hidden in Formentera. This tiny nude beach can often only be reached by boat due to high tides. No restaurants or beach clubs here; just incredible gradients of blue and green ocean depths mimicking a calm pool created entirely by nature.
Palma de Mallorca
Hidden behind huge doors in Palma’s Old Town, Abaco Cocktail Bar is serving some of the most exclusive cocktails in a decadent setting. Enjoy old-school service in a space decked out with fruits and flowers. The enclosed courtyard is very private and delightfully romantic. At midnight on Friday nights, with a loud crescendo of classical music, rose petals cascade down from the ceiling. They glide over the fireplace to create a fresh carpet of petals on the floor. It is a moment that doesn’t happen anywhere else on earth.
Hvar Town on Hvar Island is often said to be the San Tropez of Croatia. Those in the know start with sundown cocktails at Hula Hula Bar, then head to dinner in one of the many fine restaurants in the area.
Also in Hvar Town, Carpe Diem Nightclub is on the main quay, and Carpe Diem Beach in the Pakleni Islands is on the edge of the harbor. Tenders with access from Carpe Diem open at midnight for nightclub action. Carpe Diem Beach is open virtually around the clock with beach club fun during the day.
The tiny little resort town of Turkbuku has a large anchorage on the north side of the Bodrum Peninsula.
